Salute TikTok Contest Official Rules

Eligibility: Contest is open to legal residents of Canada only. There is no age restriction. 

Agreement to Rules: By participating, the Contestant (“You”) agree to be fully unconditionally bound by these Rules, and You represent and warrant that You meet the eligibility requirements. In addition, You agree to accept the decisions of Salute Coffee Company as final and binding as it relates to the content of this Campaign. 

Contest Period: The contest begins on September 10 at 8AM EST and ends on Monday, November 1st 2021 at 11:59PM EST.

How to Enter: To enter the contest on TikTok, entrants must complete the following actions: 1. Follow the official Salute Coffee account on TikTok (@salutecoffeecompany) 2. Post a video on his/her account that promotes Salute Coffee Company or any Salute Coffee product 3. Tag @salutecoffeecompany in the post 4. Use the hashtag #salutetiktokcontest in the post. The entry must be no longer than 1 minute in length to be eligible to win a prize. Salute Coffee Company may disqualify entries if the Entry and related Submission includes inappropriate, offensive, or other derogatory language or information. Salute Coffee Company reserves the right to remove, reject, or disqualify (along with the Entrants who submitted them) any entry or related tag which, in its sole opinion, (a) violates any of these Official Rules, the terms of service and privacy policy of TikTok, or Salute Coffee Company, (b) infringes, misappropriates, or violates any rights of any third party including, without limitation, patent, copyright, trademark, trade secret, or right of privacy or publicity, or (c) is otherwise inappropriate for inclusion in the Contest. 

The Winner of the Contest will receive a cash prize of $500 CAD. There will be 1 prize given away to 1 winner. The prize is nontransferable. Any and all prize-related expenses, including without limitation any and all federal, state, and/or local taxes, shall be the sole responsibility of Winner. 

Winner Selection and Notification: Winner will be selected through an internal voting process. The prize winner will be notified by receiving a direct message from Salute Coffee Company to their TikTok account with a request for their full name and email address so that we can connect outside of TikTok to finalize the pick up of the cash prize. If Winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible, fails to claim the prize within 7 days from the time award notification was sent, or fails to timely return a completed and executed declaration and release as required, the prize may be forfeited and an alternate Winner selected. 

Rights Granted by You: By entering this contest and submitting any content, You understand and agree that Salute Coffee Company, anyone acting on behalf of Salute Coffee Company shall have the right, where permitted by law, to print, publish, broadcast, distribute, and use in any media now known or hereafter developed, in perpetuity and throughout the World, without limitation, your entry video clip, for news, publicity, information, trade, advertising, public relations, and promotional purposes, without any further compensation, notice, review, or consent. 

Limitation of Liability: By entering, You agree to release and hold harmless Salute Coffee Company and its subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, partners, representatives, agents, successors, assigns, employees, officers, and directors from any liability, illness, injury, death, loss, litigation, claim, or damage that may occur, directly or indirectly, whether caused by negligence or not, from: (i) such entrant’s participation in the Campaign and/or his/her acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize or any portion thereof; (ii) technical failures of any kind, including but not limited to the malfunction of any computer, cable, network, hardware, or software, or other mechanical equipment; (iii) the unavailability or inaccessibility of any transmissions, telephone, or Internet service; (iv) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or the Promotion; (v) electronic or human error in the administration of the Promotion or the processing of entries.
